Billing Dates and Proration

Company billing date

A company can use an available monthly billing date, such as the 1st, 5th, or 15th of the month. The selected date keeps company seat charges on one schedule.

Adding a seat during a billing period

When a company adds a paid seat between billing dates, the first charge may cover only the remaining part of the current period. This is a prorated charge.

For example, if a company adds a seat halfway through its billing period, it should not pay for a full unused month. The following renewal uses the normal recurring price.

Removing or changing a seat

The financial result can depend on the timing of the change and the company's subscription state. Review the amount shown before confirming a billing change.

If a change looks incorrect, do not repeat it. Contact support or provide the payment and invoice details to your company billing administrator.
